Forsyth County Commissioner Kerry Hill was elected in 2022 to serve the 2023-2026 term representing District 1, which encompasses the northwestern portion of the county from the City of Cumming west to the Cherokee County border and northwest to the Dawson County line.
Previous to her election to the Board of Commissioners, Commissioner Hill served four years on the Forsyth County Planning Commission and served as President of her neighborhood HOA.
She is a successful software engineer and mother of three. Commissioner Hill and her husband, Ron, have been proud residents of Forsyth County for more than 14 years. Their three children attended Forsyth County public schools. The Hills are members of St. Brendan's Catholic Church.
Commissioner Hill is passionate about making government operation data, including how tax payer dollars are determined, allocated and spent, more easily available for the community. She plans to work with County staff on setting goals to create accessibility to funding data. Improving the community has been in her work for more than a decade, and Commissioner Hill strives to make Forsyth County a wonderful place for family and community.
