The Forsyth County Fire Department Honor Guard was formed in 1994. Currently, it consists of ten (10) guard members and twenty five (25) support service members. The guard is comprised of Forsyth County firefighters and exists to honor the courage and sacrifice of America's public safety and military professionals.

The guard routinely participates or performs in funerals, memorial services, church services, and parades. Since its inception, the guard has performed throughout the State of Georgia and annually participates in the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland. They live, work, and perform by the motto,"WITH HONOR WE SERVE".
