Third annual “Home for the Holidays”adoption promotion available through January 2

Tohelp make holiday wishes come true for families, and pets, the Forsyth CountyAnimal Shelter is waiving their standard $85 pet adoption fee. The Home for theHolidays promotion begins Saturday, Nov. 30 and will be available for petadoptions through Jan. 2, 2020.

“Homefor the holidays has become a time of the year that the entire staff at theshelter looks forward to because we know that our wonderful animals have agreat opportunity at finding their forever homes,” said Animal Shelter ManagerCindy Iacopella. “Each of these pets deserves a family to go home with and wetruly enjoy seeing the smiles they put on adopting families’ faces.”

Theshelter’s adoption fee includes microchipping for all pets, altering and ageappropriate vaccinations.

The Forsyth County AnimalShelter (4065 County Way) is located just off GA 400 in northern Forsyth Countyand provides animal adoptions from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday throughSaturday.

The shelter will beclosed on Tuesday, Dec. 24 and Wednesday, Dec. 25 for Christmas as well asWednesday, Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day.

In addition to seekinghomes for all the animals in their care, the Forsyth County Animal Shelter isalways looking for volunteers, those willing to foster animals and donations ofitems such as pet food, toys and bedding.
