    Rivers Alive Cleanup Scheduled for November 3

    Keep Forsyth County Beautiful seeks volunteers for waterway cleanup event
      
    Keep Forsyth County Beautiful (KFCB) is seeking volunteers to help clean local waterways. The 2012 Rivers Alive Cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, November 3, at 9 a.m. and KFCB encourages families, scout troops and organizations to volunteer for the annual waterway cleanup event.

    Volunteer teams can register for the event by calling KFCB at 770.205.4573 or by sending an email to kfcb@forsythco.com. The registration deadline is Tuesday, October 30.  

    Volunteers will meet at Mary Alice Park (1820 Mary Alice Park Road in Cumming) at 9 a.m. on November 3 to gather supplies. Volunteers will proceed to clean as many lake, river and wetland locations as possible before returning to Mary Alice Park for lunch.
