1. Eastgate Church ZA3588 Commission District #2 Request to rezone 3.47 acres from Agricultural (A1) to Commercial Business District (CBD) with a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for a 29,000 square foot worship facility with 197 parking spaces with variances.
Located: This property is located at 2820 Brookwood Road approximately 900 feet southwest of the intersection with Caney Road.
(1) A variance is requested to eliminate the required 50 foot side yard buffer (UDC Chapter 12, Table 12.1, note #1).
(2) A variance is requested to reduce the required 50 foot side yard setback 40 feet to allow a side yard setback of 10 feet. (UDC Chapter 12, Table 12.2).
(3) A variance is requested to eliminate the required 50 foot rear yard buffer (UDC Chapter 12, Table 12.1, note #1).
(4) A variance is requested to reduce the required 50 foot rear yard setback 25 feet to allow a side yard setback of 25 feet. (UDC Chapter 12, Table 12.2).
2. Danny Bennett ZA3593 Commission District #3 Request to rezone 4.5 acres from Highway Business (HB) to Agricultural (A1) for agricultural use. Located: This property is located at 150 Bettis Road, Alpharetta GA 30004.
3. Hodges, Harbin, Newberry & Tribble, Inc. ZA3594 Commission District #4 Request to rezone 73.69 acres from Agricultural (A1) to Mining Operations District (MINE) for a soil borrow area associated with the existing Eagle Point Landfill. Located: This property is located on Old Federal Road approximately 4300 feet northwest of the intersection with Blanton Lane.
