Special Event Permit
A Special Event Permit is required for three or more participants who wish to use public property or public roads for the purposes of holding a race, parade, assembly, or other similar activity.
If you are interested in obtaining a Special Event Permit, please complete the application and the release and waiver form and return the documents to the Office of the County Manager at 110 East Main Street, Suite 210, Cumming, GA 30040. Please allow 15 days for approval once your application is submitted.
For your convenience, also included is a current schedule of events that have been permitted by the county. This list provides the date, start time and start location of the permitted event.
