How to Register with the State for a Retail Alcohol License

New Alcohol Application

New Alcohol Application This application is for all consumption and retail package applicants. Use L.A.M.P viewer to see all active and Conditional Licenses. All applicants are required to submit the completed application to the Georgia Tax Center https://gtc.dor.ga.gov/_/ . An appointment is required with our office prior to submitting with the GTC. Applicant for wholesale, manufacturer distillery and manufacturer brewery will submit a new alcohol application to the Business License Department.


Application for Change of Alcohol Licensee

This application allows current establishments that hold an existing alcohol license to change the named licensee only. This application must be submitted in person by the named licensee.


Application for Alcohol Beverage Caterer License

This application is for an Alcohol Beverage Caterer license. This is an add on license. To be eligible, you must possess a current Forsyth County Consumption on Premises Alcohol License. Please email alcohol@forsythco.com to request an appointment to submit the completed application.


Application for a For-Profit Special Event Catering Permit

This application allows businesses with an existing Forsyth County Alcohol Beverage Caterer License to request a permit to serve alcohol at a location (inside or outside) within Forsyth County other than the licensed premises.

Application for Wholesale Alcohol License

Application for Wholesale Alcohol License This application allows wholesale dealers in alcoholic beverages licensed by the State of Georgia to distribute such beverages to licensed retailers or dealers in unincorporated areas of Forsyth County.
