Meeting Announcements and Participation Details

In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the Board of Commissioners instituted a temporary policy allowing remote (Zoom) participation at various County meetings where public input is received, such as Board of Commissioner and Planning Commission meetings. On July 7, 2022, the Board of Commissioners discontinued this temporary policy. Remote participation at County board meetings will no longer occur. 

Persons wishing to address the Board, the Planning Commission, or any other County assembly that allows public input may do so by physically attending the meeting. Forsyth County will still facilitate remote viewing of Board of Commissioners work session and regular meetings, Planning Commission regular meetings and Zoning Board of Appeals regular meetings in real time on the County’s website, forsythco.com, as well as TV Forsyth, Comcast channel 23 and AT&T channel 99.
