2025 State of the County Address Set for April 8

Forsyth County Board of Commissioners Chairman Alfred John will share a 2025 State of the County address on Tuesday, April 8, at the Forsyth Conference Center (3410 Ronald Reagan Blvd).

The annual event, hosted in partnership with the Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, is an opportunity for residents and community-minded business leaders to get updated on the County’s accomplishments, vision for the future, and the priorities and plans that guide the County’s decisions.

“The State of the County is always a unique opportunity to have a front row seat to understand the Board of Commissioners’ vision for the future,” said John. “This event is for all Forsyth County residents to see how a bright future is being created today, and I highly encourage anyone wishing to see how their taxpayer dollars are building America’s best community to join us on April 8.”

Attendees are invited to a “Coffee and Conversation” networking hour with County representatives, elected officials and business leaders at 10 a.m., followed by a plated lunch served at 11:15 a.m. before the State of the County address at noon. Limited open seating with dining is available.

Free general admission seating without lunch is also available with limited seating.
