Attention Big Creek Greenway enthusiasts – here are a fewupdates on the Big Creek Greenway in Forsyth County.

Work is continuing on Phase 4, which will extend themulti-use trail approximately 2.8 miles. This new phase will begin at the BethelviewRoad trailhead and continue along Big Creek, then run parallel to Kelly MillRoad and end at Johnson Road. While this project has experienced some weatherand redesign delays, we are looking forward to opening this new section soon.For safety, please don’t use this section of the trail until it’s officiallyopened.

If you plan to park at the Bethelview Road trailheadTuesday, July 5, please note that due to the Bethelview Road widening work,water will be off at the trailhead from approximately 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Whilethe water is off, the trailhead’s restrooms will be temporarily closed and thewater fountains will be temporarily out of service.
