Board of Commissioners Recognizes Department of Building & Licensing for Excellence in Building Safety
The Department of Building & Licensing was recognized by the Board of Commissioners for winning the 2024 Jurisdiction of the Year award from the Building Officials Association of Georgia.
The department received this award for its integrity, professionalism and dedication to the building safety industry.
"[The Department of Building & Licensing] represents the spirit of public service and play vital roles in the enforcement of codes and standards in the interest of public safety," said Building & Licensing Director Jake Hill.
