Board of Commissioners Recognizes Girl Scout for Highest Achievement
At a June 20 meeting, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners recognized the accomplishments of Brooke Anderson who recently earned the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest achievement a Girl Scout can earn.
Anderson’s Gold Award project consisted of designing, building and installing multiple weather-proof kiosks outside each animal enclosure at the barn at her school, Denmark High School. She also added educational material to every kiosk for each animal, which included the animals’ names, breeds and their specific contributions to agriculture.
The Board congratulates Anderson for her outstanding achievement and thanks her for the many hours she spent dedicated to serving the Forsyth County community.
