Board of Commissioners Urges Citizens to Prioritize Mental Health in Proclamation
During their May 9 meeting, the Board of Commissioners proclaimed May 2023 as Mental Health Awareness Month, urging all citizens to prioritize mental health and to call or text 988 if you or someone you know is in crisis.
“Forsyth County is committed to ending stigmas surrounding mental health,” said District 4 Commissioner Cindy Jones Mills as she read the proclamation.
