Chairman Alfred John Delivers 2023 State of Forsyth County Address
Forsyth County, Georgia – Forsyth County Board of Commissioners Chairman Alfred John delivered the 2023 State of the County address on Tuesday, March 28, with the theme “Forsyth County Delivers.” Photos from the event can be found by clicking here.
This year’s address highlighted five areas in which Forsyth County “delivers”: a brighter future, a safe community, economic prosperity, infrastructure for growth and good financial stewardship. The address was supported by pre-recorded interviews with various business and government leaders, as well as local elementary students, spotlighting projects and values in the community.
“Forsyth County is delivering on the promises we have made to create a better community today, but maybe even more importantly, we are delivering on promises for a better tomorrow,” said John. “I look forward to the challenges that are ahead of us … and with your support, there is no goal this County cannot achieve.”
The annual event, hosted in partnership with the Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, is an opportunity for residents and community-minded business leaders to get updated on the County’s accomplishments of the past year and look ahead to the priorities and plans that will guide the County’s future.
