Chairman Alfred John Delivers 2024 State of Forsyth County Address
Forsyth County Board of Commissioners Chairman Alfred John delivered the 2024 State of the County address on Thursday, March 28, with the theme “FoCommunity.” Photos from the event can be found here. A recording of the full event is available at FoCoStateoftheCounty.com.
This year’s address highlighted how Forsyth County government staff, residents and marketplace leaders work together to shape the community around us. The address was supported by pre-recorded interviews with various County citizens, spotlighting investments Forsyth County departments, residents and businesses leaders are making in the community’s future.
“Here in Forsyth County, community is very much alive and celebrated, and it is the very reason our county is the most sought after for families, businesses and their employees, as well as entertainment, not only in Georgia, but in the entire United States,” said John. “Your government is aware of the power of community and the value of community.”
The annual event, hosted in partnership with the Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, is an opportunity for residents and community-minded business leaders to get updated on the County’s accomplishments of the past year and look ahead to the priorities and plans that will guide the County’s future.
