Christmas Tree Recycling Available Through January 30
Keep Forsyth County Beautiful (KFCB) invites residents to continue their annual post-holiday tradition of recycling their Christmas trees during the “Bring One for the Chipper” event now through January 30. Last year, Forsyth County recycled more than 4,000 trees.
Christmas trees can be dropped off at locations throughout the county where a wood chipper will process the trees into mulch.
“Forsyth County residents have recycled more than 98,000 Christmas trees since the county began participating in the ‘Bring One for the Chipper’ program in 1994,” said Environmental Program Manager Tammy Wright. “We are looking forward to another great turnout this year.”
