Court Administrator Elected President of Georgia Council of Court Administrators
Bell-ForsythJudicial Circuit Court Administrator Robin Rooks has been elected President ofthe Georgia Council of Court Administrators (GCCA) for the 2020-2021 term.
“I am honoredto have been selected to serve as president of GCCA and am deeply appreciativeof the Council for entrusting me to serve as its leader,” said Rooks.
“Georgia Courtshas never faced a challenge like COVID-19. The pandemic is not only takinglives and battering our economy, but also challenging the strength of ourCourts as an institution. From day one, I will work with our membership to meetthis challenge with unmatched dedication to public service and an unwaveringcommitment to innovation in keeping our courts operating and accessible to allcitizens of this state.”
Rooks has overseencourt operations for the Bell-Forsyth Judicial Circuit, which includes ForsythCounty Superior, State and Juvenile Courts, since 2013. She has held similarpositions in Fulton County and Key West, FL.
With over 195members throughout Georgia, GCCA is Georgia’s largest court professionalorganization and is dedicated to educating court professionals, providingnetwork support, sharing information and advocating on important court andjustice system topics.
