Forsyth County government has hired a director to lead its Public Facilities Department. Mr. Dennis Daniel will join the county staff as director of Public Facilities on August 15. This position directs operations and activities involving maintenance of buildings, equipment and grounds of Forsyth County facilities and manages the county’s capital projects.

Daniel brings to the position more than 20 years of experience and has an extensive background with large multi-facility organizations including management in operations, process improvement and capital projects. Most recently he served as senior facilities manager with CBRE/ADP. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.

“We are pleased to have Dennis join the Forsyth County staff,” said County Manager Doug Derrer. “In addition to his strong facilities management experience, he brings to the position skills in strategic planning and industry knowledge in safety and regulatory compliance.”
