Department of Geographic Information Services Wins Prestigious National Award
Forsyth County’s Department of Geographic Information Services (GIS) won the ESRI 2023 Special Achievement in GIS, SAG Award on July 11 and was recognized by members of ESRI for its outstanding achievements.
Such achievements include the County’s development of an Enterprise Technology Plan built around the advancement of GIS technology, bringing together information from many different systems to improve data sharing, commitment to best practices for utilizing GIS to better serve Forsyth County citizens and make GIS readily available for all, and much more.
