Fire Department Promotes 15 Personnel at Recognition Ceremony
In a ceremony held Saturday, Dec. 7, the Forsyth County Fire Department presented various awards and promoted 15 personnel during the department’s recognition ceremony for the year 2024. Family, friends and Fire Department staff attended the ceremony held at Local Church Forsyth. Photos from the event can be found on the Fire Department Facebook page and by clicking here.
Awards were presented to personnel in the first portion of the ceremony. The Department presented Life-Saved Awards to Department personnel in recognition of their outstanding actions when a life-threatening situation occurred as well as Unit Citation Awards.
In the promotional portion of the event, 15 members of the department were formally promoted to new positions including battalion chief of special operations, lieutenant and fire apparatus operator. Below are the names of all that received promotions along with their new title.
