Flags Flying at Half-Staff in Honor of Colin Powell
By executive order of Gov. Brian Kemp, the flag of the United States and the Georgia flag at County government facilities will fly at half-staff in honor of and to recognize the passing of the Honorable Colin Powell.
In addition to his service in the United States Army, Powell served as U.S. Secretary of State, U.S. National Security Advisor, the Commander of the U.S. Army Forces Command and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Flags will be flown at half-staff until sunset on Friday, Oct. 22.
