Flags Flying at Half-Staff in Honor of Forsyth County Firefighter Larry Mitro
As a mark of respect for ForsythCounty Firefighter Larry Mitro, flags at county fire stations are flying athalf-staff until sunset on Monday, Dec. 30. Firefighter Mitro has been with thecounty’s Fire Department since 1998 and was one of the county’s first 30fulltime firefighters.
Mitro passed away on Christmasmorning following a battle with cancer.
