Forsyth County Adopts 2024 Comprehensive Transportation Plan
During their Aug. 1 meeting, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners officially adopted an update to the County’s Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) which serves as a guide for future transportation investments.
To facilitate actionable plans that accurately reflect the desires of those who live, work and spend time in Forsyth County, residents and stakeholders were encouraged to provide input throughout the planning process, and the County is thankful for the hundreds of individuals who provided input as part of this important process.
Along with the 2024 CTP update process, a Local Road Safety Plan (LRSP) was developed by evaluating the County’s roadways for safety solutions.
