Forsyth County Awarded BioReady Bronze Community Designation
Forsyth County was recently designated a BioReady Bronze Community by non-profit Georgia Bio, affirming the County’s position as an emerging hub for the life sciences sector.
To achieve a bronze-level designation, Forsyth County has set up a direct “pipeline” process that allows bio-related industries to connect with County and Chamber staff for future growth opportunities. Capable staff, robust water & sewer system, and biotech-friendly zoning and permitting procedures have made the community an attractive place for the growing biotech industry to thrive.
Forward Forsyth and the Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce worked closely with the County and the state to achieve this designation, which was announced at an Aug. 15 Forsyth County Board of Commissioners meeting.
