Forsyth County Fire Department Begins Aerial’s House Toy Collection
Seventeenth annual toy collection helpschildren in need during the holiday season
TheForsyth County Fire Department is asking for residents’ help in making theholiday season brighter for children in need with the annual Aerial’s House toycollection. The initiative gets its name from a piece of equipment whichis used by the Fire Department known as an aerial ladder truck.
New, unwrapped toys forlocal children in need, between newborn and 18 years old, may be dropped offbeginning Nov. 11 through Dec. 11 at any Forsyth County fire station or theFire Department Headquarters (3520 Settingdown Rd.).
In December, donations for Aerial’sHouse may also be dropped off in the lobby of the Forsyth County AdministrationBuilding (110 E. Main St.).
“The Fire Department ishonored to be a part of such a wonderful initiative that brings joy to childrenand families during such a special time of the year,” said Forsyth County FireDivision Chief Jason Shivers. “We appreciate the community’s support for thisprogram each year.”
