Appointments are Full: Forsyth County is Offering COVID-19 Vaccines in March

At this time, all appointments for March are full.  As additional vaccines become available over the next few weeks, the County anticipates more appointment opportunities for residents. Information on this will be posted on the website and County social media.


ForsythCounty Government has COVID-19 vaccine appointments available for residents whoare currently eligible, as well as those who will become eligible on March 15.Information on eligibility is included at the bottom of this email and can alsobe found here: https://dph.georgia.gov/covid-vaccine.


Appointmentsare available for March 17, 18, 24 and 25. To make an appointment for the vaccine, click here. This link will also be available on the main page of Forsyth County government website, forsythco.com.

 

Please note that Forsyth County will be administering atwo-dose vaccine, so we ask that residents ensure they will be available forthe second dose when making an appointment. All vaccines will be administeredat the Forsyth Conference Center at Lanier Technical College (3410 RonaldReagan Blvd.).

As additional vaccines become available over the next few weeks, the County anticipates creating more appointment opportunities for residents.

Populationscurrently eligible for COVID vaccines in Georgia:

  • Healthcare workers (physicians, nurses, laboratory technicians, EMS personnel, environmental services, etc.)
  • Residents and staff of long-term care facilities
  • Adults aged 65+ and their caregivers
  • Law enforcement, firefighters, first responders
  • Educators and staff (Pre-K, K-12, DECAL licensed or exempt childcare programs)
  • Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their caregivers
  • Parents of children with complex medical conditions who are at high risk for COVID complications

Beginning March 15, 2021, the followingpopulations will be eligible for COVID vaccination in Georgia:

  • Adults aged 55 and over
  • Individuals with disabilities
  • Individuals aged 16 years and older with certain medical conditions that increase their risk of severe illness from COVID-19. Note: Pfizer is the only COVID vaccine currently approved for children aged 16 and older. Conditions include:
