Forsyth County has launched a new Careers page on its website to encourage people to apply for a variety of available full-time and part-time positions with the County, and to highlight for job seekers that Forsyth County is a great place to live, work and play.

The page includes six videos from County employees detailing their daily routines and favorite parts of their jobs, key County facts and figures and an overview of Forsyth County amenities such as an award-winning school system, premium shopping and dining experiences, and outdoor adventures.

“Forsyth County employees take pride in making a daily impact on peoples’ lives by providing professional public service in meaningful and unique ways,” said Director of Employment Services Charity Clark. “We hope to recruit more like-minded professionals to join us in serving residents, visitors and fellow employees with integrity and a commitment to excellence.” 

The Careers page also highlights the County’s many employee benefits and rewards offerings, such as 401k and 457b retirement plans, 10 paid holidays each year, personal time off accrual and compensatory time, emergency sick leave, bereavement leave, educational assistance, free fitness memberships at all County Parks & Recreation gym locations, access to a wellness center and employee discounts. 

Discounts include Anytime Fitness, AT&T, Farmers Insurance, Office Depot, Grease Monkey, Culvers, Liberty Mutual and Verizon. More discounts are forthcoming.
