Forsyth County Parks & Recreation to Host Family Fun Fest and Haunted Trail this Saturday
Forsyth County Parks & Recreation is hosting their inaugural Family Fun Fest and Haunted Trail on Saturday, October 28 at the Sawnee Mountain Preserve Visitor Center. The free event will feature family crafts, games and nature-themed activities. Also included in the festivities will be a Halloween costume contest for all ages and a haunted trail for ages eight and up.
“We are very excited to welcome the community to Sawnee Mountain Preserve for the first Family Fun Fest and Haunted Trail event,” said Parks & Recreation Director Jim Pryor. “We’re looking forward to a great evening of Halloween fun for the whole family.”
The event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., with the costume contest at 6:30 p.m. and the haunted trail beginning at 7 p.m.
