Forsyth County Senior Services to Host Panel Discussion on Aging

Program will be held at Senior Services’ Center at Charles Place

Forsyth County Senior Services will host an open panel discussion on aging Wednesday, July 12, from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Center at Charles Place, located at 595 Dahlonega Street near downtown Cumming.

The panel discussion will feature four experts on the topic of aging: Danielle Cefalu Humphrey, attorney with Hurley Elder Care Law; Kim Ruiz, BSW, social services specialist with the Division of Aging Services; Ashley Magistro, LACP, life counselor with Avita Community Partners; and Robin Pingeton-Nelson, nurse practitioner with Transitional Care Physicians of Atlanta. After discussion, the panel will take questions from the audience.

“This program is a great opportunity for our senior residents and their families to come hear from experts on a range of topics – from law to healthcare – as it relates to aging,” said Senior Services Director Ruthie Brew. “We hope that those who attend will leave with new information and their questions answered.”

The program is free and open to the public. RSVP to attend by Monday, July 10, by calling (770) 781-2178. Visit the Forsyth County Senior Services page for more information.
