Forsyth County’s Play at the Park Family Fun Festival Seeks Volunteers
Forsyth County Parks & Recreation and the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce are preparing for the 14th annual Play at the Park Family Fun Festival to be held at Fowler Park on Saturday, October 1, and are seeking volunteers to assist with the event.
Play at the Park is a family-friendly community event that features kids’ activities, live entertainment, vendors and food trucks. Last year’s event brought in more than 2,500 people and nearly 70 vendors.
Prospective volunteers ages 16 and up will assist with event set-up and clean-up, kids’ activities, vendors and the food truck area. Volunteers will receive a free T-shirt for participating. Three shifts are available: 8 a.m. to noon, noon to 4 p.m., and 4 to 9 p.m. To sign up, visit www.playatthepark.com.
