Fourth Student Government Academy Class Recognized by Board of Commissioners
Twenty-four local high school juniors participating in Forsyth County’s fourth annual Student Government Academy were recognized at the Dec. 5 Board of Commissioners meeting.
The Student Government Academy is a dynamic civics program for Forsyth County high school juniors that gives students the opportunity to engage with their local government and gain a deeper understanding of how it operates.
Each Forsyth County high school nominates three students to participate in the program. Interested rising juniors attending Forsyth County Schools are advised to express their interest in being nominated for the program to their high school principal.
