Keep Forsyth County Beautiful welcomes everyone to take partin the Great FoCo Cleanup by helping remove litter from the community’sroadways on Saturday, March 21. The effort is a part of the Keep AmericaBeautiful Great American Cleanup. 

Participants – either as an organized team of volunteers oras individuals – will meet at the Central Park Recreation Center (2300 KeithBridge Road) at 9 a.m. for a brief rally to start the cleanup event. Volunteerswill then depart to clean up roadways in the community before returning to therecreation center for food and fun. 

“Anyone can make a positive impact on their community,whether they are individual residents, community organizations, families orbusinesses,” said Forsyth County Manager of Environmental Programs TammyWright. “It is a great thing to see the community come together for events suchas this to help our county thrive.” 

Volunteers with pickup trucks are also needed following theevent to help collect trash from the various clean-up locations.
