LANE CLOSURE: E. Main St. Left Turning Lane to Close Beginning Aug. 10
The left turning lane on E. Main St. (located next to the Courthouse) in downtown Cumming will close beginning Wednesday, Aug. 10, to allow for the construction of a new parking area beside the Courthouse.
The lane will be closed for the duration of the project with an anticipated reopening in late 2022 (weather permitting).
During the construction period, please refrain from walking in the road and instead use the sidewalk on the opposite side of Main St. Please cross the road at the traffic signals in the designated crosswalks as this is often a busy thoroughfare.
