Pet Resource Center Waives Adoption Fees for the Summer

The Forsyth County Pet Resource Center will be hosting a 50s-themed, summer-long adoption event from Saturday, May 25, to Saturday, Sept. 14.

At the sixth annual Summer of Love adoption event, the center’s $85 adoption fees for all animals will be waived. Adoptions include microchipping, spaying/neutering and age-appropriate vaccinations.

“We are very excited to give residents a chance to adopt a pet at no cost,” said Pet Resource Center Manager Cindy Iacopella. “All of the pets in the shelter deserve a good home, and we are hopeful that this promotion will help families bring a new companion home this summer.”

The Pet Resource Center provides animal adoptions from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesdays through Saturdays. The shelter (4065 County Way) is located just off SR 400 in north Forsyth County.

For more information, call (678) 965-7185 or visit the Forsyth County Pet Resource Center’s webpage. Residents may also connect with the center on its Facebook page.
