Planned System Outage for Hardware Replacement Set for Aug. 18

The Forsyth County Department of Information Systems & Technology will be performing countywide network maintenance starting at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2024. As a result, most non-critical County computing and phone systems, including websites, will be offline until the maintenance is completed.

Please note: E-911 dispatch and critical public safety systems will remain operational. However, recreation centers at Central Park, Fowler Park and Old Atlanta Park, as well as the Splash Pad at Old Atlanta Park, will be closed to the public except for previously scheduled rentals and programs. Affected County systems include:

  • County computer systems.
  • County phone lines (no effect on E-911 services).
  • The County primary website, www.forsythco.com; Forsyth County Courts website, www.forsythcourts.com; Parks & Recreation website, www.parks.forsythco.com; and all other web-based solutions offered by the County will be unavailable (the County’s social media channels will still be active and available for any needed information releases).
  • Online and in-person credit card payments will be unavailable for any billing, County services or activities.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your patience and support.
