VIDEO: Probate Court Hosts 14 Weddings on Valentine's Day
Forsyth County Probate Court offered free wedding ceremonies on Valentine’s Day for couples that reside in Forsyth County. Accompanied by friends and family, 14 couples were married by Probate Court Judge Daisy Weeks-Marisko.
“We thought, it being Valentine’s Day, it would be a good opportunity to offer this service,” said Judge Weeks-Marisko. “This is the second year that we’ve done it, and we’ve actually doubled the number of weddings that we did last year. Everyone leaves the courtroom happy.”
