Smoky Conditions Continue
Smoky conditions continue throughout the county, the result of shifting winds which are blowing smoke from fires in the northwest part of the state into our area. Please know that the Forsyth County Fire Department is aware of and monitoring the situation. As always, if you see active flames please call 911.
As a reminder, there is currently a total ban on outdoor burning in Forsyth County. No outdoor burning is allowed due to the drought conditions.
