Students Encouraged to Apply for FEMA Youth Council
Students in 8th to 11th grade can share what they think is a best practice for how government agencies prepare and respond to disasters through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Youth Council. This Council is for youth leaders interested in supporting disaster preparedness and making a difference in their communities by completing disaster preparedness projects nationally and locally.
Applications are now open through March 6 and interested students can apply here. FEMA will announce the selected candidates in June.
