Updated Design Plans for Caney Creek Preserve to be Presented
Drafted future plans for Caney CreekPreserve to be presented June 5
Residents are invited toattend the next regularly scheduled Forsyth County Parks & Recreation Boardmeeting to provide feedback on the updated master plan design for Caney CreekPreserve. The meeting will be held at the Fowler Park Recreation Center (4110Carolene Way) at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5.
“We encourage thecommunity to attend the meeting to see the design plans and provide theirthoughts,” said Parks & Recreation Director Jim Pryor.
A public meeting was held in March that allowed residents the chance to provide input on updates to currentfacilities as well as designs for additional amenities. Caney Creek Preservecurrently features a dog park, 1.5-mile nature trail, playground and two picnicpavilions.
The updated Caney CreekPreserve master plan project is being funded by SPLOST VII.
