VIDEO: Forsyth County Manager David McKee Provides Updates after Storm Damage
A severe thunderstorm that passed through the evening of July 20 caused many downed trees and powerlines in our area. The Forsyth County Department of Water & Sewer temporarily lost the ability to produce water at its water plant, but power has been restored and production has resumed. Residents on County water systems are asked to continue water conservation efforts through Saturday, July 22, at noon.
We appreciate all of the crews, citizens and communicators who have worked night and day to restore power, water and road safety after last night’s storm.
