VIDEO: Foster a Pet to Help Shelter Animals Find Forever Homes
Many people wish to have the warmth and company of a pet but may not be able to adopt one. The Forsyth County Animal Shelter (FCAS) provides the best of both worlds through their fostering program.
Foster volunteers can help an animal prepare for adoption by providing the love and support they need while the Shelter provides the rest.
Once matched, foster family volunteers will come to FCAS to pick up their foster animal(s). At that time the foster family will receive information about their animal's condition and needs and be provided appropriate supplies. FCAS will provide all basic supplies needed for care including food, medications, kennels and toys along with care instructions for each foster animal.
