Winners of Forsyth County Fire Department’s Ninth Annual Fire Safety Poster Contest Announced
The three winners of the Forsyth County Fire Department’s2019 Fire Safety Poster Contest were recognized during the May 16 Board ofCommissioners meeting. The winners from each poster theme category are:
- “Stay Low and Go” - Sasha Biran, a student at Daves Creek Elementary
- “Two Ways Out” - Seth Landers, a student at Whitlow Elementary
- “Firefighters Are Our Friends” - Kayal Subramanian, a student at Daves Creek Elementary
All three winners will be treated to a pizza party withtheir classmates and local firefighters and will receive a certificate ofaccomplishment from Forsyth County Fire Chief Barry Head. The artwork of thethree winners and three runners-up will be displayed in county buildings.
Theannual Fire Safety Poster Contest is open to all third-grade students inForsyth County public, private and homeschools. This was the ninth year thecontest was held.
