We have officially opened new Fire Station 8 in the northeast portion of the county with a hose uncoupling ceremony on Friday, April 21. The station is located at 6015 Keith Bridge Road and it replaced the former Station 8 which had been built by volunteers. The Chestatee Community has long awaited a new fire station. For many decades, this area was blessed with a dedicated group of local volunteer firefighters. We are grateful to those who now serve our fire department. Their professionalism is second to none! I would like to thank our speakers Sheriff Ron
Freeman, Representative Sherri Gilligan, Chestatee Elementary Principal Polly
Tennies, Chairman Todd Levent, Fire Chief Danny Bowman and singer Kendall Sosebee, a senior at North Forsyth High School.
Don't forget the Drug Summit is tonight at 6 p.m. at Cumming City Park. Hope to see you there!
