Dear Forsyth County Residents:
Election Day is upon us Tuesday, November 3. The good news is the political ads will soon come to an end, and if you are like me, that can’t come soon enough!
Let’s each do our part - vote, accept the results and start rebuilding our country. No matter what the outcome of this election, half of the population may feel let-down. How we respond and the next steps we take will be critical in moving forward toward our common goals, and we need to do it together.
May each of us start the healing by sowing seeds of harmony and love within the gardens we each have around us in Forsyth County. We can cultivate those spaces by restoring the brokenness in our lives, by giving nourishment to those that depend on us for growth and education and that desperately need those kind words of encouragement. Lastly, let us be a light in this world that can sometimes seem pretty dark and a hard place for the young and old to find a bright spot. Even more so with COVID. Let’s be that light for someone, especially in these trying days ahead. Please join me in praying for our country. It’s a country that has given us all so much and definitely worthy of our prayers. God bless America, we pray.
