Here's an update on the progress of GA 400. According to GDOT, the contractor should be able to complete the north bound paving of the asphalt section up to 369 within the next 2 weeks. There will be some additional work that includes striping, signs, etc., but that would provide the potential to have the north bound asphalt section associated with the left turn lanes at 369 open by the 4th of July weekend. Opening the additional lane to the left turn cue should give some relief to the north bound through traffic. The bridge work continues to progress and the north bound side of the bridge should be complete by the end of July. Concrete paving south bound from 141 to McFarland Parkway should start within the next 2 weekends.
