A new car dealership, Don Jackson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram,
has just been approved by the Board of Commissioners and will be located on the
southwest corner of Georgia 400 and Hubbard Town Road. I want to thank all the
citizens who came out for the two public participation meetings. I would also
like to thank my planning commissioner, Bettina Hammond, for all her hard work
on the zoning conditions that were compiled from other car dealerships that are
already in the county. I also want to thank the owners of the dealership for
being so willing to work with the commissioners and also agree to incorporate
some of the Coal Mountain Overlay standards.
