At the BOC meeting on April 13, 2017, the BOC took action
to put in place a moratorium on land disturbance permits on residential zonings
in D4 from 2000 through December 31, 2012 in order to put in place some architectural
standards. Most of these old zonings have very outdated, poorly written and
very limited conditions that are irrelative to the character of our area now.
It was imperative to get better standards in place before more of these
outdated subdivisions start to be built. We will review and hold a public
hearing on the moratorium in a month and see where to go from here. Happy
