For anyone interested in the Silver City area zonings in
relation to the Silver City school district, we will have a presentation at our
work session on Tuesday, June 6, at 2 p.m. If you can’t attend, you can watch
the presentation online at a later time on the county’s website at www.forsythco.com. Two months ago I asked our IS&T director
if he could put together all this zoning data and he’s done a masterful job in
compiling it all. I hope it has set a new standard for our county and school
system to work together from now on. The information is being tracked
accurately and I would like to make county departments, schools, transportation
officials and others that are moving here aware of the information.
