Here is an update on the SR369/Bannister Road intersection improvement project. According to Assistant Director of Engineering Tim Allen, GDOT will bid out a signal upgrade project in July 2017 which includes the intersection of SR 369 at Bannister Road/John Burruss Road. This project will add pedestrian crosswalks and pedestrian signals for each side of the intersection. The signal equipment will be fully replaced and a new protected left turn phase will be added for Bannister Road left turn onto SR 369. The project includes mutable intersections and should be completed by early 2018.
